2024/25 Fiscal Year Revenue Summary

Here is a breakdown of the revenue/contributions received or recognized in this past fiscal period by source and type. Knowing this detail is important when assessing the assumptions made during the budget approval process and determining how reliable these revenues are when committing to expenses.

I decided to aggregate the internal school funds since those are a significant amount that contribute greatly to student experiences and opportunities.

* Source: Sumner County FY2025 Annual Financial Report, Exhibit J-1 (Statement of Activities) and Exhibit K-6 (Schedule of Detailed Revenues). The Statement of Activities is the authoritative all-in figure. It captures all fund types including the Internal School Fund ($15.3M in school-level activity fees) and applies GAAP accrual adjustments not reflected in the raw fund statements. The $356M in general revenues plus $55.3M in program revenues (charges for services + operating grants) sum to $411.3M total.
