Introduction

Hi! My name is Jill Fernelius, and I am running to serve as District 1’s School Board representative for Sumner County.

Having two children who attend District 1 public schools has introduced me to some of the best friends, neighbors, kiddos, teachers, and school staff I have ever met. We are incredibly fortunate to live here, and it would be an honor to serve as your voice.

This week, I had the opportunity to meet many fellow candidates at a Public School Strong event. Our county is fortunate to have so many good people willing to step forward. That is how it should be. Voters deserve a choice.
